The Best Time Saver I've found For Busy Moms

I was seven months pregnant, and very tired from over an hour of walking around the grocery store. Thanks to my "pregnancy brain" I'd forgotten things a few times and walked back and forth through the Winco. Pushing my heavy cart and tired from a long day of work, my hips and back were aching. My round belly bumped slightly against the cart and I leaned over with my elbows on the handles, looking across the parking lot.

I squinted at the bright sun (still hours away from sunset) on this hot day and hoped that no one walked close enough to smell we sweating. Having a baby in August made it a very hot hot summer for me!

I walked down the aisle of cars, trying to remember where I'd parked the car. I clicked the lock button on my keys and listened. Nothing. I walked back to the end of the parking lot, crossed to the next row over, walked and pushed the button again. How could I not remember where my car was? I was so tired and frustrated. I seriously couldn't remember where my car was. I was close to tears when I finally spotted the slightly-dented back of our gray Honda.

Relieved, I lifted bag after bag into the car, pushed the empty cart rattling to the cart return, and heaved myself into the driver's seat. And cried.

Never again.

I decided I wouldn't go grocery shopping any more while I was pregnant. And after I had my little baby and was trying to get a handle on everything, I discovered Shipt. Now I order my groceries on my phone and can get them delivered as fast as an hour or two later! It remembers my favorite repeat items, tells me about sales, and gives me different store options in my area.

And what's the best part? It costs me less than a dollar a week. I'm pretty thrifty so at first the idea of having my groceries delivered sounded ridiculous. But once I mulled over the fact that for only $49 I could have groceries brought right to my kitchen hassle-free for A YEAR... I was sold.

My husband always reminds me 'Is it worth your time?' Is spending a couple bucks on deliveries worth saving me an hour of getting my baby ready, packing her into the car, driving to the store, walking around finding my groceries, checking out, loading up the car, and home again.. Even going really fast I could never do it all in less than an hour. (And that's with the grocery store 5 minutes away!)

I've also used this app to order diapers! When Kasdyn was having so many blow outs and I had just changed her outfit for the fourth time one day, I decided it was time to try some new brands. I opened my phone, spent 2 minutes selecting 5 brands of diapers to try, and two hours later I was at my front door joking with my shipt delivery lady about blowouts and trying new brands.

That's why I've recommended Shipt to all the tired mom's and pregnant friends I have! It has been a huge blessing and really simplified my life!

I order groceries once or twice a week, and as long as I buy $35 or more, there isn't any fee. Which honestly, is not hard to do.. If I ever forget something on my main grocery order, I just add a bag of cat food, toilet paper, or something we use all the time - like tortilla chips - and I've never had to pay a fee in the 7 months I've been using it now.

If you want to give it a try, please use my link to save $50 off so you only pay $49 for a year! (Regularly $99/year)
